This impeccably maintained 132-foot Westship welcomes guests into an exclusive world of sensuous and cosmopolitan style. Attention to detail is given to every aspect, from the recent upgrade of soft furnishings, both interior and exterior, to the smooth operation of all mechanical systems. She also carries an abundance of water toys including a brand new 2008, 22-foot wide-body Nautica tender with the removable side door and twin 150-hp Yamaha engines.Two(2 Man) Ski Doos. Lavishly decorated, her interior is sleek yet warm, refined yet sexy. The atmosphere is one of serene sophistication, with lush upholsteries in white, black, and gold. Luminous and vibrant glass sculptures, stainless steel, and gold plate all add sparkle and bling throughout the yacht. The gracefully curving lines of the furniture and other details echo the flow of waves, while original paintings celebrate feminine beauty.
Highlights of the main saloon include a marble bar, gracious sitting areas, and broad windows that draw in the beauty of the outdoors. The open dining area accommodates 8 guests to savor fine cuisine at a stunning glass table appointed with Baccarat crystal and fine china. Walk-around side decks provide easy access forward and aft.
As a tri-deck motor yacht, Northern Lights has numerous choices of places to enjoy the pampering experience of being aboard. Large double doors open to the aft deck, perfect for al fresco dining with a semi-circular settee and bar with seating. A spiral staircase leads up from inside the saloon to the large sky lounge. There you will find a full bar with seating, a hidden plasma TV and game table. In the evening, the fiber optic shooting star planetarium ceiling and adjustable mood lighting create just the right setting for dancing the night away. Doors lead from the sky lounge to the boat deck’s dining area, appointed with BBQ and a covered seating area. Above the sky lounge, on the sundeck, 360-degree views create the exhilarating feeling of being on top of the world. The Jacuzzi, full bar with seating, and spacious seating make this a great place for sunbathing or cocktails.
All five of the staterooms have state-of-the-art entertainment systems. The full-beam master suite, located on the main deck, is a sophisticated oasis, with a king-size bed, a desk to starboard and settee to port, expansive windows for natural light, and a 42-inch plasma TV. The adjoining his and her baths have marble countertops, a full-size shower whose glass wall is etched with a graceful mermaid amid underwater flora, and a granite Jacuzzi tub. One deck below, a marble foyer opens to the guest staterooms, all of which have personal state-of-the-art entertainment systems. Two have queen-size beds and adjoining baths with marble vanities, while the third, also ensuite, is appointed with large twin beds. The fifth has a queen bed, with ensuite bath. Bill hails from the historical New England seaport of Mystic, Connecticut and has been involved in the luxury yachting industry for over 20 years. Due to the love of the sea and his desire for adventure Bill has captained both sailing and motor yachts around the world. His charters have taken him from places as far North as Alaska on the West coast and as far East as Nova Scotia on the East coast. He has spent the last 7 years providing amazing fun, relaxing, adventurous charters throughout the Caribbean islands. With over a 100 successful charters under his belt, Bill knows the best ports and anchorages whether it be beach combing or absorbing the island cultural he’s happy to take you there. He currently holds a USCG 1600 ton & MCA 3000 Class 4 license. Bill and his crew on “Northern Lights” truly look forward to welcoming you onboard for a memorable charter experience
FIRST MATE: PETER JUPP

Peter is an energetic happy easy going Australian. After a successful career managing construction sites he indulged his love for the ocean pursuing a career as a yacht captain.
While achieving his qualifications he has sailed yachts on the east coast of Australia, the Mediterranean and across the Atlantic. Peter holds a 200 gross ton license and is currently studying for his Officer of the Watch en route to his 500 gross ton license. Sailing, wake boarding, kite surfing, snowboarding, rock climbing, traveling and motorcycles are a few of his passions. He is a career professional taking pride in providing 5 star service to all guests who sail with him.
DECKHAND: ETHAN OLMSTEAD

Born in New Bern, North Carolina had a fascination with water and anything involving water. I have always enjoyed water sports from skiing, knee boarding, and especially surfing. Started on bigger boats at the age of 18 crewing on a sail boat in the Dominican Republic. I returned to my roots of smaller boats and spent time rigging boats with engines and electronics. Worked on a yacht as the only mate, cook, and engineer. I spent time cruising from the East Coast to the Bahamas. He was offered a job in Livorno Italy and spent ten months mainly in the shipyard but did travel to Cannes, Monaco, and parts of Italy. Returned back to small boats and offered a job on Northern Lights which I happily accepted.
ENGINEER: JOHANNES SWANEPOEL
SOUTH AFRICA
Johannes is from Cape Town, down in sunny South-Africa. There he joined the S.A. Navy straight after school to pursue a career as a marine mechanical engineer where he received training on the aspects of running a vessel’s machinery and systems. After qualifying, he started to earn his salt’s worth on the SAS Drakensberg, a 482’ support vessel. Amongst other journeys, he motored up the East coast of Africa to Mumbial and Cochin, India as well as De La Reunion and the Seychelles. Further diplomatic and support missions offered him the opportunity to motor along the West Coast of Africa to St. Helena Island. It was his military background that set his high standard of workmanship. In search of further adventure, Johannes left the South African shores visiting Australia and England shortly there after. In London, he found his way back onto boats chartering on the River Thames. Soon, he moved over to the Caribbean to broaden his horizons into the Mega Yacht Industry. Based in St. Maarten he realized the beauty of the Windward Islands and enjoyed sailing and fishing as past times. From that time, he has been involved in the motor yacht charter industry and travelled around the Caribbean, Bahamas and Greek Islands as a yacht engineer. With solid engineering experience, Johannes will ensure your comfort on board the Motor Yacht Northern Lights.

Executive Chef Michael Martin has been impressing people for over 22 years with his amazing culinary dishes. He has worked in some of the most sought after restaurants in the world. From the international well known “River Café “to the favorite hangout restaurant “Harvey Nichols” both located in London, England. He is not only an exceptional chef but is well aware of the service element that is expected of him. In addition he worked at the private Belmont Forest Estate as a butler.
With over 10 years of yachting experience. He has a an impressive list of motor vessels that he has worked on such as the 200’ Lady Beatrice, the 100’ Corona Del Mar, to the 280’ M/Y Tattoos to name a few.
Michael Martin is excited to bring his culinary expertise and flavor’s to” Northern Lights”. He trained at “Stephanie’s Restaurant “one of Australia’s best for fine dining concentrating on the modern flavors of France, Italy, and Asia which have become the world tastes of today.
Michael’s flavors are both light and tasty but also healthy, for he loves what he does with a passion. You and your guests will be sure to leave with a few memorable flavors of Northern Light’s.

Joanne grew up in Auckland, NZ. While working within the professional photographic field she pursued many leisure activities. Amongst one of her favorites was racing sailboats. This was a passion that she partook in for over 20 years. Racing competitively within the Haruki Gulf and outer Auckland harbor, her passion for the sea and enthusiasm for travel and adventure led her to a career within the luxury yacht industry. She has visited many ports all over South America, North America, Caribbean, Bahamas, British Virgin Islands, Mediterranean, as well as backpacking through Asia, and the Pacific. Joanne has also had extensive experience on busy Charter Yachts, and enjoys offering her guests unsurpassed, friendly service and an unforgettable, memorable experience while on board. She will dazzle you with her delightfully set tables and delicious cocktails. Her flair for pampering guests is well received…as is her sense of humor! Joanne also holds her Advanced Divers certification and has dived all over the world. She looks forward to welcoming you on board for a pleasurable and thrilling stay.
STEWARDESS: NADIA LOURENS

Nadia joins us from the mother city of South Africa, Cape Town, where she grew up to love the sun and sea. As a teenager, she visited family in Greece and it was then, that the travel bug bit. On completion of schooling, she traveled to the UK for a two year working holiday. There she started working as a receptionist in the corporate finance industry and worked her way up to Personal Assistant to some of London’s top Financial Advisers. After this time in the U.K. she was happy to return to South Africa, from where she soon left to travel the Caribbean. Here she was introduced to the super yacht industry, and started working as a stewardess on yachts through the Caribbean and Bahamas and out of Ft. Lauderdale. Combining her skills as a certified masseuse with her experience in anticipating the needs of corporate business woman and men, she’s ready to ensure you enjoy a luxurious experience on board Motor Yacht Northern Lights.
